The thoughts and actions a warrior engages with always towards being respectful towards self, they set themselves a standard of awareness that beams outwards to others. This shows up as courteous engagement with anyone, even enemies. There is no reason to be cruel, or to prove their strength. And this consistent attitude has others reciprocate respect towards warriors for they are in complete control of themselves, regardless of who they are interacting with.
